Zach Lieberman and myself are working on a brand new performance for the opening night of OFFF.
The performance is called 'Liners' and tells the story of a line that starts but never ends, using
submitted videos and programmed graphics we will piece together on the fly a continuous
animation of a single line.

We would like your help! We need short 3-8 second videos of a line been drawn, in any way possible,
in any style, that will become part of the performance. We will credit all videos submitted at the end
of the performance. Think of it as an easy way to show how creative you can be with a few seconds of video.

Deadline is Wednesday 9th May - so be quick!!!

Is anynoe else experiencing severe instability in the Windows Phone design surface since the last round of Microsoft Updates? I’ve been getting very frequent designer crashes. Most of the time it just claims it can’t load some assembly (there are several, it varies). Occasionally the whole VS IDE dies. Sometimes click-to-reload works. Generally, recompiling then clicking to reload is more successful. It’s usable, but only if you have a lot of patience. I don’t believe this is specific to my computer as it happened at home and at work, and one of these is 64 bit Win7Ult, and the other is 32-bit Win7Ult (it’s an elderly notebook), and in both cases the problems started right after updates forced a reboot.

Hey Erik!

We are almost done posting the code from the software (we are releasing it all for download) so we have been held up by that. The performance went great and we will have the video up in a matter of days.
